The metropole region Rotterdam The Hague (MRDH) has decided to improve the autonomous ParkShuttle service. APPM has been responsible on behalf of Transdev’s brand Connexxion for the project management, integration of a new vehicle, route, accessibility etc. for a new concession until 20233. The shuttle is presently used by 1100 commuters every day. The project has been done in cooperation with 2getthere. Indepth knowlegde of autonomous driving in public transportation is growing in the Netherlands. APPM is also involved with an autonomous shuttle pilot in the Brainport Region.
